fantastic central spot for exploring mazatlan's charming landmarks

    great location
    clean amenities
    comfortable bed
    strong paint

The location stood out for being just a few blocks from the historical center, making it super easy to explore local sights. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere on the rooftop kitchen where I enjoyed making meals and socializing. The room itself offered a comfortable bed and clean amenities, though it felt a bit cramped with minimal natural light. I also encountered a strong paint smell in the hallways, which was a bit off-putting. Communication during check-in only through WhatsApp was somewhat inconvenient. Regardless of these drawbacks, the overall value and comfort left a positive impression.

Great location and a wonderful rooftop for socializing with locals. A communal kitchen saved money on food, adding value to the stay. Room had air conditioning and hot water showers.

    rooftop kitchen
    strong paint smell

The hotel has a wonderful rooftop kitchen for socializing.

I was also troubled by the strong paint smell that permeated the hallways—it felt oppressive. Furthermore, checking in was confusing, as any further communication had to be done exclusively via WhatsApp, which was less than ideal for a hotel setting.

    cramped room

The rooftop kitchen was a lovely spot to chill and soak in the sun while enjoying a morning coffee. The hot showers were a nice perk after a day out. There’s a cozy garden nook perfect for unwinding, and I appreciated how clean everything was. The room felt a bit cramped with minimal natural light, but it didn't ruin my stay at all. I'd totally recommend it for a budget-friendly option! 😊

    cramped room
    lack of natural light
    basic decor

The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from the historical center, making it easy to explore the area. The communal kitchen was a big plus for making meals. bread toasts were a highlight for breakfast. However, the room felt a bit cramped and lacked natural light, and the room's decor was very basic. While the shower had hot water and it was peaceful at night, I would have appreciated better lighting in the room itself.
